Working with patients who struggle with IBS-D and chronic diarrhea? I get it.

Managing diarrhea can be "the $hits" 😃

I'm Andrea Hardy, registered dietitian, and co-founder of Nutrition Academy.

Throughout my practice as a GI dietitian, I've found that diarrhea management is often complex and very individualized to the patient. Patients present with a variety of different symptoms, including urgency, incomplete evacuation, and frequent loose stools.

On top of that they may have a lot of bloating, gas, and discomfort - making it hard for them to leave the house!

Throughout the years, I've learned a lot about different subtypes of diarrhea, and how to best help patients. More importantly, this has lead me to find that with chronic diarrhea, sometimes things are missed!

Dietitians play a crucial role in advocating for proper testing and treatment for patients since we are often the health care provider that spends the most time with them, and has the most in-depth understanding of their symptoms.

This workshop is going to give you the tools, practice algorithm, up-to-date evidence, and knowledge to provide patients with appropriate guidance, and coordinate care with allied health as needed!
